Last Spring Portland was host to the first non-commercial Donald Judd solo exhibition on the West Coast since 1974. Join us Friday, November 12th from 6:30-8:00pm at Monograph Bookwerks for the public unveiling of the illustrated exhibition guide featuring new essays by curators Peter Ballantine and Jeff Jahn. Historically significant, the exhibition at the U of O’s Portland campus marked the first time fabrication documents, parts, drawings and correspondences have ever been shown in conjunction with Judd’s work as an exploration of his radical process of delegated fabrication.
Remarks at 7:15pm, stop in for wine, snax and conversation. Funded in part by the Regional Arts and Cultural Council, the exhibition guide will be available free.
