Some cool new arrivals today:
Schwitters in Norway – We love Schwitters and this just-out new title is a survey of his work done in Norway where he lived for many years at different periods. It includes his amazing collages, his Merz constructions and his beautiful early landscapes which are rarely seen in surveys. We are super excited about this book!
The Prints of Josef Albers: A Catalogue Raisonne 1915-1976 – This is a beautiful book including the three major and different print periods of Albers’ long career as “one of the greatest abstract artists and teachers of the 20th century”.
Stefan Sagmeister: Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far – Actually 15 mini-books in a slipcase (with a die-cut cover to make 15 different covers), this is a compendium of the designer/provocateur’s projects, commissions, billboards, photos and ideas so far.
